Are you our new UK Sales Director?

AudienceProject is looking for a Sales Director for our London office to support our continued growth

AudienceProject is a fast-growing technology-based market research company with 50+ employees across five countries delivering audience measurement and research solutions to major advertisers, agencies and publishers in the UK, Germany, France and Nordics. Over the past years, we have supported companies like Facebook, Google, Spotify, Coca-Cola, Vodafone, GroupM, Omnicom Media Group, Dailymotion and Discovery.

Embarking on our second decade of audience measurement, and with a new cookieless cross-media audience measurement platform just launched (more info here), we are looking for a motivated Sales Director to support our next growth phase.

The position is for our London office, reporting to the UK Country Director, and comes at a time when cross-media audience measurement is a hot topic in the UK (and beyond). It is an outstanding time to join a relatively small team and make a big difference to the company and your career.

Our future-ready approach to understanding audiences enables us to become a trusted, long-term partner for our clients, some of whom you can see above and in these cases. We need people who can bring their experience and energy to AudienceProject and turn it into a passion for how the truth about consumer behaviour drives significant business outcomes for marketers, who are increasingly facing a highly challenging, fragmented cross-media landscape.

You will work closely with AudienceProject colleagues from Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Product across our markets. To ensure rapid up-skilling in all things AudienceProject and measurement, an induction programme will take place both in London and our HQ in Copenhagen.

Joining AudienceProject will give you a front-row seat in the rapidly evolving marketing/research technology sector and an opportunity of working within a respected business delivering insight about audiences across the world’s largest media platforms to top-tier clients.

This is neither a commoditised media sales job nor a dull research role(!); it is a unique opportunity right in the eye of the audience measurement storm!

What you will do

  • Go-to-market and build and close a pipeline of qualified revenue opportunities from your ‘patch’ (mainly brands/agencies but also potentially some CTV publishers and video network providers)
  • Manage new clients in partnership with our Customer Success team to ensure client satisfaction, retention and growth
  • Forecast business in an accurate and timely manner
  • Utilise and adapt company materials for successful sales meetings and communications
  • Contribute knowledgeably and positively to internal and external events, and overall team and company success
  • Educate and train clients with CSM support on all aspects of our products and knowledge
  • Become a respected ‘ambassador’ for all things AudienceProject and measurement in the wider industry
  • Work with leadership and marketing/product to ensure market and research knowledge is up to date and give feedback to the business on learnings from being ‘in the field’

What you have

  • A customer-focused, problem-solving outlook to sales
  • A record of success in relevant sales roles
  • A strong network and reputation with brands, agencies and ad tech, and advanced media industry knowledge
  • Min 4 years of experience in selling (digital) media/technologies/research solutions to brands
  • An outgoing and trustworthy personality
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A desire to be a team player, to learn, and develop your skills, knowledge and profile
  • History of academic success, ideally to university degree level or similar
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and communication skills

What we are offering

A unique career and personal development opportunity within a fast-growing digital business and marketplace

  • Immersive training at the Copenhagen HQ (travel regulations permitting), with regular HQ events, etc.
  • Innovative and market-leading products and solutions
  • Mentorship from thought leaders in the industry
  • A rewarding compensation package
  • Central London office, currently with a flexible working arrangement based on min days in the office (will be reviewed periodically)
